This book is a guide to behavior, not a field guide It has excellent information of many common and uncommon behavioral traits, and uses a particular species from the worldwide dragonfly and damselfly fauna to illustrate the points being made The photographs are superb, and if I have one criticism not directed to the author it is that I am unlikely ever to see most of these species, as they are to be found in places I will never be lucky enough to visit
