Standard style quiz on finding your style I usually fall into transitional eclectic but found I wasn t inspired by the category I came the closest to Nor was I inspired by the other style rooms It seemed the pics were fairly standard looking for each classification And for those of us who don t get pigeon holed easily it didn t show how to mix styles for that personal look Truthfully I minspired by looking at images on Pinterest. It was organized by rooms so that if you were focused on Standard style quiz on finding your style I usually fall into transitional eclectic but found I wasn t inspired by the category I came the closest to Nor was I inspired by the other style rooms It seemed the pics were fairly standard looking for each classification And for those of us who don t get pigeon holed easily it didn t show how to mix styles for that personal look Truthfully I minspired by looking at images on Pinterest. It was organized by rooms so that if you were focused on a specific room you could pick and choose what you liked If you are doing the whole home you would need to jump around. For me this brought nothing new to the table and I was disappointed As design is personal others may beinspired or find itinteresting

I decided to give this a read because I like looking at pictures of interior design This book focuses on five main styles traditional, farmhouse, transitional, contemporary, and coastal, with a quiz to help you work out which style you are most like Each style is given an overview, and then different rooms are shown in that style of decoration, such as the Living Room There are also Q As with homeowners, and projects to make. This book was okay A lot of the decoration styles were actually I decided to give this a read because I like looking at pictures of interior design This book focuses on five main styles traditional, farmhouse, transitional, contemporary, and coastal, with a quiz to help you work out which style you are most like Each style is given an overview, and then different rooms are shown in that style of decoration, such as the Living Room There are also Q As with homeowners, and projects to make. This book was okay A lot of the decoration styles were actually pretty similar in the pictures, so it is not that useful if you are after a variety of styles It is also quite religious at times, and very American focused But the layout is nice, and there are a lot of photos

This book is adorable but not very helpful I was drawn in by the title but was actually disappointed that it didn t quite help me find a style There is a quiz at the start of the book that asks about your style but assumes you know a lot about home design to begin with I don t.Then, each section shows you how to design a space with various styles that all look pretty similar or like multiple styles are blended together I liked the diy projects but none were revolutionary I could find most o This book is adorable but not very helpful I was drawn in by the title but was actually disappointed that it didn t quite help me find a style There is a quiz at the start of the book that asks about your style but assumes you know a lot about home design to begin with I don t.Then, each section shows you how to design a space with various styles that all look pretty similar or like multiple styles are blended together I liked the diy projects but none were revolutionary I could find most of this info on Pinterest Ultimately, I ended up with another book for my bookshelf but no new style for my home

Fun book that helps you figure out where you land on the style spectrum I don t fit quite into any of her five categories, but contemporary was closest, and I got some good inspiration and ideas from the designs Still, I wouldn t buy this book got it from my library I skimmed it in an hour and that was that.
