Thank you to NetGalley for this ARCThis is a very interesting book regarding the opioid addiction problems facing many people It offers herbal remedies to help with addiction and recovery I recommend it if you have ever had to deal with these issues

I am not uite sure how effective the treatments within would be for drug addicts but we as a society push addicts into programs with very low efficacy AA pricey rehab etc so I would definitely be open to exploring the treatments within Knowledge is power and I think with opioids we need to be aware of as many possible treatments as we can Also what is effective for one person might not be for another so we need to know about what is out there Western medicine in the traditional sense has done little to curb opiate addiction so eastern medicine and natural treatments deserve a try I also like how the author addresses pain management within something that is often intertwined with drug abuse but something also it’s own animal I would recommend this to anyone in the field
