“When we prioritise our joy we are prioritising our soul”I found this book deeply impacting so than any mindfulness books I have read before Some mindfulness books can be a bit wishy washy but this one engaged in almost a therapeutic dialogue with the reader Many of the exercises and practices discussed have been things therapists and counsellors have recommended to me The advantage of it being so broad in genre means I can recommend it to anyone who is in anyway creative be they knitters embroiderers or even wood workers Not that I know any wood workers at the moment

A calm and insightful read that highlighted and validated things I knew within me without having necessarily openly acknowledged themThere is so much common sense in our daily lives it is nice to shake the complications off and get back to basics
