  1. Fay says:

Tracey Wickham s voice came through strongly giving the book authenticity.I wanted to read her story after seeing her on a documentary What a tough life, but a tough spirit too.Reading the part about swimming and competing was a tedious and monotonous read much like training, I suppose but the post swimming part was the most interesting and inspiring to me.A real human story No pretentions.

  2. Ann says:

Authentically told in the voice of Tracey Wickham, supported with excerpts from those who knew her well The beginning of the book tells of her swimming achievements leading to the events of her life post swimming and ending with the tragic death of her daughter This is not a literary masterpiece, but the voice of Tracey Wickham comes through as a motivated achiever in the pool, but as someone less successful in life Recommended, and I would have given 3.5 stars.
