I was not fond of this story at all.Madison does do a fabulous job of Stewart He s not one of the cliche bitter disabled or one of the Inspirational either I hate both those cliches Not that there never is one or the other or both at once, I m just tired of reading about people with disabilities mine included who isn t just a person A normal person with ups and downs and lives that don t need third parties to come make them a real person again Ugh.Stewart is a normal guy Just a nor I was not fond of this story at all.Madison does do a fabulous job of Stewart He s not one of the cliche bitter disabled or one of the Inspirational either I hate both those cliches Not that there never is one or the other or both at once, I m just tired of reading about people with disabilities mine included who isn t just a person A normal person with ups and downs and lives that don t need third parties to come make them a real person again Ugh.Stewart is a normal guy Just a normal guy who happens to have lost mobility Madison seems to have a good working knowledge on this subject. But I hated the story It was a short story that crammed so much shit in so dizzily fast that nothing had any depth and all the events meant nothing There was a lot of convenient coincidence going on All the other characters are flat, paper dolls, mannequins It was...

I liked this novella but I think I would ve liked itwithout the scenes with Stewart s father It seemed like the author just crammed those in there at the last second, in my opinion But, other than that, a very soid lunchtime book

  6. Eleanore June says:

The story didn t feel complete I know it is a short story novella, but even with that in mind it was cramming too much in and yet managed not to wrap up in a satisfying way That being said I love how normal guy Stewart is.

  7. Erin says:
