    Very nice organization with some great recipes for preserving Something I liked it is organized by produce, so you can easily find several options for using your abundance Also, it is nice that the quantities are small and manageable, assuming that you only have 4 lbs of strawberries instead of 4 flats Convenient that way What was lacking some of the produce are not very common But the biggest problem was that most of the fruit jams DO NOT tell how to do anything with Pectin So you have Very nice organization with some great recipes for preserving Something I liked it is organized by produce, so you can easily find several options for using your abundance Also, it is nice that the quantities are small and manageable, assuming that you only have 4 lbs of strawberries instead of 4 flats Convenient that way What was lacking some of the produce are not very common But the biggest problem was that most of the fruit jams DO NOT tell how to do anything with Pectin So you have only the slow and lots of sugar option That s all I really liked the recipes, though

    Interesting recipes with practical tips Most seem safe and look like they fall within the USDA preservation guidelines but there is no information as to whether the recipes have been tested and some appear to not meet safe practices in the US.

    This is a reference book of recipes for canning preserving There was one recipe that I am taking away from this book and that is Chow Chow YUM I can t wait to make some, it makes me think of my Grandma R and eating her amazing beans I love you Grandma

    Full of very creative, small batch recipes Includes lots of fruits not usually found in preserving books.

    Good book Very helpful information I would suggest reading other books like it as well, so that you can have a well rounded knowledge.
